Steam Train Cake

The base layer has been made and decorated with a varnished wood effect, and a gold plaque is placed on the side of the base cake with your chosen inscription. The train is hand carved and shaped to replicate a steam locomotive and then hand decorated. Everything on this
cake is totally edible. Our customer sent us images of this classic steam train engine that they wanted to replicate. It was a particular type and model of a steam locomotive that the recipient used to drive back in the days when steam locomotives where popular. The cake is available in a wide range of flavours. As we bake every cake traditionally and individually to order, we can offer a whole range of cake types and flavours. The base cake has been made up of four colours which we have put together in a mottled design to give the leather look effect. Are you a train spotter? Check our other versions of this gorgeous wedding cake. Set on a 14 inch iced cake board which is dressed with matching red ribbon. This beautiful unique wedding cake was delivered to our couple in Ramsgate, Kent. The base tier is dressed with iced frills, together with hand piped dots above the frills and hand iced little bows. The middle tier is hand carved into the shape of a tear drop and is also decorated by with a hand piped pearl effect. The base of the middle tier on this wedding cake is dressed with iced beads and has been decorated with roses and butterflies. The top tier is carved into the shape of a heart and the decoration mimics the same as the base tier. To finish the top tier off we have mad a small display of hand iced roses in cream and red. At the front of the middle tier a Circle Of Love ornament has been carefully placed.

This is our own recipe for a moist fruit cake and it is enrobed with marzipan, before being coated with ivory sugar paste. For the middle tier we provided our lush dark Belgian chocolate and orange swirl sponge with a filling of Belgian chocolate butter cream. Finally for the top tier we supplied our popular cherry and amaretto sponge together with a filling of Amaretto butter cream. As with all of our cake recipe's, because we bake every cake the traditional way from scratch, we ensure we
incorporate real fruit in all of our cakes and flavours. To give this elegant cake its shabby chic look, each tier is decorated with a dusky pink ribbon and a contrasting light pink ribbon around each cake base. Quilted Wedding Cake. A simplistic and beautiful Asian Wedding cake. This quilted effect wedding cake is adorned with hand piped lace effect around the circumference of the base cake and decorated with random edible gold dragees. The design for the middle tier, is an embossed lattice design. This is decorated with gold dragees and finalised with a burgundy bow and diamante brooch. This gives the quilted wedding cake the overall design a modern look.
All the lace detailing is hand piped. It then trails up the top tier and is finished off with a burgundy ribbon. For the top of the quilted wedding cake our bride and groom chose their own personal gold cake topper displaying their names. Although our customers are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing from over 40 flavours, our bride to be decided to opt for all tiers to consists of three layers of eggless (egg free) vanilla sponge. Our vanilla sponges which are always fresh baked to order included a filling of soft strawberry conserve together with vanilla buttercream.
On this order, to ensure that all the guests were catered for, we also provided an additional 12inch egg free cutting cake to cater for an extra 70 guests. Delivery and setup of this Quilted wedding cake with diamante brooch on the day was made at the Round House, pride park, Derby. The Round House was originally used as a train turnstile. Up to the present day it still has its unspoilt features upon entering the venue.

Orchid heaven wedding cake. Astound your guests with our beautiful 5 tier Orchid Wedding cake. Each of the tiers are almost double height, giving the whole wedding cake that grandeur effect. With each of the tiers being almost double height, this brings the bonus of having more than 5 different flavours. All the tiers can be different in flavour, and this does not affect the price of our fresh baked sponge flavours.
The orchid heaven wedding cake is sat in our large ring of flowers. For this wedding cake, we used Orchids & Roses. Depending on your chosen wedding day theme, the flowers can all be changed to suit your requirements. Our flower ring has the orchids trailing down the table and offset the whole display beautifully.
Cake flavours that were chosen for this orchid heaven wedding cake were chosen from our extensive list of popular cake flavours. These can be found here. Flavours for the orchid wedding cake from the base tier upwards were; Fresh vanilla, Belgian chocolate, Cookies & cream, Fresh lemon and for the top tier our bride and groom chose our very own Amaretto.
Decoration for the orchid wedding cake is as follows: On the 14-inch base tier, we decorated with a damask design. The 12-inch tier was left plain. For the 10-inch tier our couple opted to leave this plain also. When we come to the 8-inch tier of this orchid heaven wedding cake, we hand decorated this with the initials of the happy couple in gold. The initials were then encompassed in a gorgeous hand-crafted gold decoration. Finally, the top tier was also decorated in a damask design and finished off with a flower display on top. Delivery and set-up of the orchid wedding cake was to Alrewas Hayes, exclusive countryside venue which is located just outside Burton on Trent. Rose bed wedding cake. A beautiful red rose wedding cake with white icing. The wedding cake consists of 4 cake tiers and three separating tiers. Each of the separators are adorned with 2 layers of red roses. We also added some diamante pins into the flowers for that extra sparkle. Available in a wide range of colourful flowers, which means, you are not tied to the red rose wedding cake. Choose a different style of flower and colour to suit your wedding theme.
Egg free cakes that are provided by us are also suitable for halal. With no traces of animal fats or alcohol. Other dietary requirements can also be catered for and are available on request. Each tier of this regal wedding cake, with the exception of the 6 inch tier, are enrobed with a white fondant. The rose bed wedding cake sits on our custom disposable base. This has also been decorated with up to three rows of flowers, which also include more diamante pins. The second and top tier have been left plain, whilst the base and third tier have been carefully decorated and embossed with floral decoration..

Regal wedding cake, Asian inspired with a modern twist. All tiers of this gorgeous wedding cake are made with eggless sponge. Flavours for each of the tiers were chosen from our vast range and consisted of; Mango and Cardamom, Fresh Strawberry sponge, Vanilla, Lemon and Lime, and Red Velvet. Our egg free wedding cakes, like all others, are baked fresh to order. We use only the best available fresh ingredients to create our flavours.
Egg free cakes that are provided by us are also suitable for halal. With no traces of animal fats or alcohol. Other dietary requirements can also be catered for and are available on request. Each tier of this regal wedding cake, with the exception of the 6 inch tier, are enrobed with a white fondant. The tiers are then decorated with a gold rope effect applied to the bottom two tiers, with a gold rose swag draped around the top edge of the 10inch.
A cake separator decorated with white fondant is positioned in-between the second and third tier with a gold beading around the base. To compliment the design the third tier was decorated with a gold regal scroll detailing to the base of the cake. On the fourth tier, this has been enrobed with a gold fondant and Delicate Scroll detailing which encompasses a personal touch with the bride and groom's initials.
To balance the overall design the top tier is decorated with a gold ribbon to the base of the cake. Delivery and setup of the regal wedding cake was made at the bride and groom's venue. Their chosen venue was the Nadee at Findern, Derby. (Now known as Heathland Grove). They have undergone extensive rebuild and refurbishment. This has totally transformed the venue. Crystal Shimmer 5 tier Wedding Cake. If you are looking for a design that is simplistic, yet elegant, then this is the wedding cake for you. Our bride to be wanted something that would replicate the details of her wedding dress. After discussing the detail requirements with the bride and groom, we designed this wedding cake with the decoration that was keeping with their requirements. The cake is set on our bespoke crystal effect ice drop cake stand.
The flavours of this beautiful Crystal Shimmer Wedding Cake consisted of; Madagascan vanilla, Fresh luscious lemon sponge, Amaretto and Cherry, Belgian Chocolate, and fresh Strawberry Sponge. With over 40 freshly baked flavours to choose from, both you, and your guests will be spoilt for choice on the day. Each tier has been enrobed with an ivory fondant. The tiers are then decorated with a string of diamante’s around the base of the 10, 8, 6- and 4-inch tiers, and around the base of the cake board. For the decoration for the second tier, we made a fondant bow, together with a diamante and pearl brooch in the centre. This was added to the base of the cake. The whole cake was then finalised with a dusting of pearl lustre to give a shimmer and shine silky look. To finalise the design, we then added edible white lace appliques to the top three tiers, together with a line of lustred pearls, to replicate the buttons on the bride’s dress. The wedding cake was then delivered and set up at Morley Hayes Wedding Venue, Derbyshire.

Game Of Thrones Custom Made Birthday Cake. This is one of many styles that we make for our customers. Everything about the cake is designed/decorated and crafted by hand. As an Artisan Baker every cake we make is made the traditional way. Using only fresh ingredients, you can be assured there are no long life preservatives or additives in our cakes. The swords on the Iron Throne are all made individually and then added to the throne. On the left arm of the throne we have placed a small golden crown. Leading down from the throne is a hand made chain attached to the collar of one of the dragons. The Game of Thrones series by HBO is based on the first novel, A Song of Ice and Fire, a series of fantasy novels by American author George R. R. Martin.
This particular Game of Thrones cake is designed with The Iron Throne from Kings Landing, together with one of Daenerys dragons. Daenerys lives in exile and is of the House Targaryen. The side of the cake is decorated with Trees to resemble Winterfell. House of Stark are the rulers of the north and this is their domain. Currently the King of The North is the proclaimed Jon Snow. He has currently sworn allegiance to Daenerys in the latest series. Hence the decoration of the cake being as it is. Queen Daenerys Targaryen is the daughter of the slain King Aerys and is also rumored to be the Paternal Aunt of Jon Snow.
We have also supplied seven of our popular cup cakes with this cake. Each of the cup cakes is topped with buttercream. Placed on top of these are the Coat of Arms depicting the Seven Kingdoms. Ivory Mocha Multi Tier

Ivory mocha multi tier. Ivory mocha multi tier wedding cake. Height and status without the price tag that goes with it. A mixture of different cakes mixed with false tiers. Our bride and groom had been quoted in the region of £1100 for the same arrangement of false and real tiers as we provided. Our price is shown below. Needless to say our bride and groom were over the phone when they realised we could replicate their dream cake for almost half the price.
If you are looking for a wedding cake that gives height with an opulent look then this ivory mocha multi tier wedding cake is for you. The flavours of this cake ranged from Belgian chocolate orange, to traditional fruit, strawberry sponge, coffee and walnut and finally Madagascan vanilla sponge. It goes without saying that you can mix and match any flavours you wish. Choose from our extensive flavour list (from the menu above), or, if you have a flavour that you do not see there, let us know and we will do it for you. Each heart base tier cake has an alternating design of fondant drapes with a cameo brooch in the centre. Other tiers are a hand piped brush embroidery design. To add elegance to the base board we added a combination of calla lily, roses and blossom flowers to infill in between each tier.
Decoration for the second row of four 6” round cakes were enrobed with a mocha coloured icing that had alternating flower appliques and also decorated with royal icing piping. For the remaining tiers, fondant drapes were added with an edible pearl brooch in the centre. For the Third layer a false cake separator was used as a support for the tiers above, which, also adds height to the cake. The fourth layer consist of a 10inch chocolate fudge sponge decorated with hand piping and brush embroidery flowers. The fifth layer was a fondant covered false tier. This was also hand piped with pearl dots and vintage style edible brooches. The sixth layer was a false tier with a base colour of mocha icing with ivory piping details Finally, for the top tier, we created a shabby chic style bird cage. This was decorated with roses to compliment the overall look of the design. This cake was delivered and set up for our bride and groom to, Stancliffe Hall, near Matlock, Derbyshire Our handmade silk pleated cake stand are made to order and sold or hired separately
Harry Potter Cake

A great hit with both children and adults alike, is this Harry Potter Cake. Made from a 10 inch cake. The size of the book is approx. 10 inch x 8 inch x 3 inch. More than enough for 30 plus guests. Choose from over 38 of our most popular flavours. Perhaps you have a Harry Potter flavour you would like us to make for you. Whatever ages are attending the celebration, this Harry Potter cake will certainly be the star attraction for them.
The cake is laid out on a 12 inch cake board. The board has been decorated to resemble the old traditional slab floor effect. With just a few iced stars placed randomly on the board to set it off and then coated in glitter. Everything on this cake is totally edible and made from one of our many cake flavour recipes or icing. We have included with the harry potter cake, his wand (often referred to as his Phoenix wand), his sorting hat and the golden snitch. Together with his glasses, these are laid on top of his spell book, and of course, his scarf. Inscribed on the right hand page is the birthday message for the recipients. This has been made in the Harry Potter style font. The top page of the book has been decorated in a way that gives it an aged look. All around the sides of the book have also been coloured and carved in such a way as to make the whole Harry Potter Cake book look old and weathered.
Around the base of the cake we have continued to decorate it with a hardback book effect. The Harry Potter movies which were recreated for the J K Rowling books were a box office smash world wide. All age groups were entertained with these movies. We have many requests to create all kinds of cakes based on different movies. This Harry Potter cake is just one of many. Gold Wedding Cake. This particular cake was made for a lovely couple for an Asian Wedding. A beautiful clean looking design. This wedding cake is made of alternate Gold and White tiers. The 5 tier gold wedding cake will server approx. 140 people. Decorated with iced flowers on oppsite sides and on alternat tiers. The flower effect is finished off on the top tier. The middle tier of this gold wedding cake is decorated with two hearts, together with the couples initials.
With gold leaf added to the top tier, this adds the final touch to this beautiful looking cake . When it comes to deciding which flavour to have, you are spoilt for choice. All our cakes are baked the traditional way fresh to order. This means that you can have different flavours on every tier. Why not spoil your guests, have some of our great tasting flavours such as, Mango, Passion Fruit or other exoctic fruits that are available and in season.
To ensure that all the guests were catered for, we also provide additional cutting cakes on request. Each 12 inch cutting cake can cater for an extra 70 guests. Delivery and setup within the immediate area of either Derby / Nottingham is included in the price. We cover up to a 50 mile radius and a small charge is for delivery is made outside of these areas.
Sewing Box

A beautiful traditional design sewing box birthday cake. This particular cake is made from our own recipe. It is also available in all of our other types of cake. Choose your cake type and flavour from our full range. The cake is made from a 12 inch x 10 inch cake and is laid out on a 14 inch pre-iced cake board. The outside of the sewing box birthday cake has been given the old style weave effect. Hasps and Clasps have been added to the top of the lid, and, to the front of the box.
The compartments on the inside of the box have also been decorated with the same weave effect. Each item, both in the box, and attached to the lid are totally edible. These have all been made from icing. The sewing box birthday cake is approx. 4 inches high on the sides and front. Inside the box we have placed, cotton reels, buttons, beads, scissors, thimble and lots of over items. The linside of the lid has had a cotton picker, needles in a case, larger scissors and other items added. Creating, colouring and shaping all the individual items in this sewing box birthday cake, together with decorating takes about 12 hours.
We enjoy making these bespoke cakes and this particular cake would go well with our singer sewing machine cake. The cake is also available in various sizes which can be priced separately, depending on your requirements. This particular cake was made for a 60th birthday and was a total surprise for them. Whether you would like a bespoke 3D birthday / celebration cake or just a simple plain cake, we are happy to provide them for you. All of our cakes are baked the traditional way. We use only FRESH ingredients in all of our cakes. Every cake is made with the same care and baked / decorated no more than 48 hours prior to delivery / collection. Strongbow Cider

Here's a celebration cake for everyone who loves Strongbow cider, the difference being you can eat as much as you like without being over the limit. Made with a our real Madagascan vanilla sponge and then layered with strawberry conserve and vanilla buttercream. Once the cake is carved to size and coated, it is then enrobed with the Strongbow box image. The cake is set out on a 12 inch decorated cake board. To give the ultimate effect to the strongbow cider birthday cake, we gave the cake board a worn wood effect. It was then airbrushed to give the wood more depth. We then decided to go one step further and add more detail (as we love doing that). From the rest of the cake, we shaped an apple. The apple was then coated in a buautiful apple green fondant and finished off with the stalk on the top.
The look is then finished off with a beer mat which contains the recipients birthday message. If you would like this strongbow cider cake as it is then please feel free to use our order from below. Fishermans Cake

Fishermans Cake
Extra large fishermans birthday cake. This particular cake is laid out on a 20 inch by 14 inch cake board. The cake board has been decorated with wood effect icing, together with hand iced pebbles. The complete cake was baked and decorated within 48 hours of delivery. On this fishermans birthday cake, for the traditional fishermans basket, we used 3 full size 12 inch cakes and then carved them to shape. Our customer requested the flavour of the basket to be our very own fresh vanilla sponge. We have not used any hidden supports for any part of the cake. It stands proud somewhere between 8 and 9 inches in height and approx 12 inch diameter at the base.
The decoration of the fishermans basket is all hand piped to give the rustic weaved effect. Straps and fasteners were then made and added. Laying inbetween the basket and the fish, is a 3 piece rod, together with the eyes on each part. Traditionaly lemon is served with fish. With this in mind, we made the fish from our gorgeous Lemon and Coconut cake. (Very tasty). Once again the detailing of the fish is all completed by hand and then coloured to give it the finished look. The fishermans birthday cake is just one of many custom fresh baked cakes that we provide for our customers. Saxaphone

This particular saxaphone birthday cake is made with our very own recipe for charry and amaretto sponge. A beautiful fresh baked soft sponge with the taste of Almond and cherry. If you love the taste of almond /marzipan, then our cherry and amaretto sponge is definitely the one for you. Our customer informed us that the recipient had a passion and love for jazz music. Togehter with this they loved playing the saxophone and the piano. With this information in mind, we were asked to make this aprticular cake, to show the saxaphone, together with musical notes and a keybiard decoration. Once the cake and board were covered in sugar paste, we then decorated the outside of the cake with piano keys. We then added musical notes to the cake board. The Saxophone was made in advance with rice crispy treats. Once this had set, it was then enrobed with fondant and left to air out. We then airbrushed the saxaphone with gold, and, finally added the parts to replicate a close likeness to the to the sax .

Our Arsenal birthday cake in yet another different club strip. We often get asked to replicate different football club strips. This particular cake was made for one of our many returning customers. The board has been decorated in a black and white checkered effect with individual squares of icing. Bing Flop from cbeebies. This bing and flop birthday cake is made up of an 8 inch base. The base cake is also Egg Free and Gluten Free. Like our other cakes, our egg, gluten free cakes are available in a wide range of fresh original flavours. As we bake all of our cakes fresh to order, utilising fresh ingredients, we can offer over 30 different flavours. Gluten and egg free cakes would only be used for a standard celebration cake due to its moist but very delicate texture it wouldn’t work so well with a 3D cake design. We based the design of this cake on a garden tea party complete with handmade caricatures “Bing and Flop“. Hand carved horse birthday cake 3D. This cake was made from our own vanilla cake recipe. Baked, carved and decorated less than 48 hours prior to collection. The customer absolutely loved this cake when they came to collect. We were provided with one or two images together with the colours of the horse and asked to replicate it into a cake. As all of our cakes are baked fresh to order, this horse birthday cake was a nice little challenge to make. Everything about this horse birthday cake 3D is totally edible. The complete horse is completely made up from our fresh baked cake, including the head. We only used 2 supports in the whole design.
The cake is made in 2 sections comprising of the body and the head. The saddle and the little girl and hand shaped from icing. We do not use cake molds for our figurines or other items. We prefer to make everything by hand. Once the cake was in the desired shape, we then set about coating it in soft fondant. It is then decorated by hand to replicate the images given to us.
A lovely surprise for the equestrian birthday, whether it is for a boy, girl, lady or man. The flavour for the base tier is made with real vanilla, and, the top tier is made with real lemon zest and lemon juice for that true authentic tangy zesty flavour. Fender Stratocaster

A great birthday for that inspiring or professional guitar player is this Fender Stratocaster replica birthday cake. The body of the fender stratocaster guitar is made from our 12 inch victoria sponge and then, like all of our work, it is carved to scale. Decorated as per the instructions from our customer. They also requested an overlay of the union jack on the facia of this birthday cake. The detailing of the guitar cake includes edible replicas of the guitar detailing such as the bridge, pickups, tremolo and pots.
To give the guitar more of a realistic look, with we custom made the cake board to allow for the overall length, including the neck and head stock of the guitar. The head and neck were enrobed with a wood effect fondant, and then decorated with the frets, inlays and tuning pegs. Once completed we then painted these with edible silver. To ensure our client had enough portions of cake to cater for their guest we suggested having a guitar amplifier which was made with Jamaican fruit cake then decorated with every little detail in mind (including the plug and lead) If you have an instrument that you would like replicating into a cake for a birthday or other celebration, then please feel free to contact us. Cadillac cake

Cadillac Cake lasalle SKU: [ bir-329 ] Cake size approx. 11 x 5 inch Approx. portions 25-30 One of our customers came to us with the request to make a Lasalle Cadillac cake in the same style as a photo that was sent to us. We were of course happy to oblige. After considerable researching of the history of this beautiful vintage car we were able to work out a scaled size, to help with the shape and overall size of the cake.
We set to baking the cake which was a made from our Madagascan vanilla sponge recipe. The cakes were baked in sufficient quantity and then carved down and shaped by hand to replicate the basic shape of the Cadillac, from the scaled sizes we had drawn up of the Lasalle Cadillac. We were also requested to keep the replica as close as possible as it was also to include the gentleman's late wife's name on the car. This was also shown in the image we were given to work from of the actual car.
Everything on the car is totally edible with the exception of the board runner supports. These were made from a none edible item, but, were coated and decorated in icing to keep within the colour and design. The lasalle cadillac cake has a gorgeous cream finish, together with a rosewood trim around the windows. This really completes the beauty of this vintage car cake which was a pleasure to execute for our client.
We are requested and produce all types of vehicles for our customers. This particular one was even more memorable due to the style and age, together with the fact it also has a memory of the gentleman's late wife.
The gentleman, whose birthday it was, was so pleased with the cake, that he even has a photo of this in his office. He actually deals in vintage cars, and to know that he was proud to display this cake in his office is reward enough for the time and labour spent on this beautiful car. Penguin Birthday Cake

On the initial enquiry for this cake, the customer was given the choice of 3D or 2D. You can see which they preferred. This particular cake was made using three 9 x 6 inch cakes. The choice of flavour for this cake was our Madagascan vanilla sponge. The sponge had a strawberry conserve and vanilla buttercream filling.
The penguin birthday cake was carved to shape using a picture which are customer had provided. It is set on a bard which has been given a snow effect coating and finished off with a pink ribbon around it. Everything on this cake is totally edible, including the hand made bow on the penguin's head. As with all of our cakes, the penguin birthday cake is fresh baked using only fresh ingredients. It is then carved to shape by hand. At kimboscakes, all of our work is done by eye and carved to shape. We do not use pre shaped cake tines. All our cakes are baked to order the traditional way. We use only real fruit and fresh ingredients to achieve the flavours required. This is great for children's birthday cakes, as there are no hidden e numbers or sugar additives. To complete the look of this penguin birthday cake, edible crystals and glitter were sprinkled on the cake board to finish off the fresh snow scene. Our Yorkshire terrier birthday cake, is another addition to our 3D animal cakes that we often get requested to make. For this particular cake, again we used a 12 inch cake to ensure we had enough to work with. Like most of our 3D bespoke cakes, everything on this cake is totally edible and made from actual cake with virtually no support structure. At Kimboscakes, we work only with fresh baked cakes, and each one is baked and hand carved to shape, then decorated, less than 48 hours prior to delivery / collection.
The Yorkshire terrier birthday cake is carved and shaped into 2 parts before it is assembled. Once we have assembled and crumb coated the cake, we then set about coating it in a lush soft fondant. Using our experience and skills that we have gained over the years, we then set about modelling and styling the look of the Yorkshire terrier birthday cake. When we are happy with how it looks, we then start the colouring and fine detailing from images that our customer has provided to us. We take great care in replicating as close as we can, a true likeness of the images we are given.
This Yorkshire terrier birthday cake is then set out on a 14 inch cake board that we have pre - iced. On this board we have also replicated their pets blanket and the cake is then set onto this. Springbatt Dog Cake

Approx portions 30 Most cake flavours / types available Springbatt dog novelty cake is a caricature of the images we were sent of the Springbatt cross dog. These dogs are known for their very good nature, or so our customer thought. They enquired if we could provide a 3D cake of her very own dog customised with his own scarf. It turned out that the dog had a little bit of a destructive nature (well it's fun for the dog) and loves to chew any items it can get hold like babies dummies, TV remote and paper (although the list might be endless).
The cake board he is sitting on has been decorated to represent a tiled floor. The cake was baked and decorated less than 36 hours prior to delivery in Nottingham, East Midlands.
Like all of our novelty cakes, this cake was hand decorated. We asked the customer to provide several photos of the dog in order to get as much detail as we could onto the cake. The Springbatt dog is a Springer Spaniel crossed with a Basset Hound and is becoming very popular. With it's distinctive long body and short stumpy legs it is a very loveable and loyal dog. Once we had achieved the desired shape, it was covered in a soft fondant. We then set about the detail of the body and tail.
Attention was paid to the detail of the dog, right down to his muddy paws. Eyes were made and coloured, and the moth was shaped and marked to give him a happy look. Meet Marshall from Paw Patrol Marshall is a Dalmation puppy. You can find out more information on all the Paw Patrol characters here. Paw Patrol is led by 10 year old Ryder. Marshall is the teams fire pup and medic. Our caricature cake of Marshall stands approximately 17 inches tall from head to toe, and is approximately 10 inches in length. As per our customers request, this was a belgian chocolate egg free cake. Dont despair though, a wide range of other flavours are also available.
Marshall'sprimary purpose is to check for fires and extinguish them, and to use his ladder to rescue animals from high places. His secondary purpose, as a medic, is to use his X-Ray screen to check people for any broken bones or injuries, and to attend to them if needed (even though he tends to go overboard with bandages). His equipment and gadgets include: Pup Tag, Fire Truck, Fire Boat and medical pup-pack. His medical pup-pack carries an X-ray screen, a thermometer, and compartments that may deploy a roll of bandages or a crutch - depending on Marshall's diagnosis of the illness or injury.
Marshall is really fast at running. In "Pups Fight Fire", if there weren't any interruptions during the race, it is possible that Marshall could have been the "fastest fire pup in the world". As a dog, Marshall has a sharp sense of smell. Although it is not as sensitive as Chase's, Marshall is able to smell and detect gas leaks and smoke. While in his Mighty Pup mode, he can generate heat, and when he puts his paws on the ground, it can melt the surface, making him a literal "fire dog". When he's charged-up, he can jump very high. The base tier is a 10" square and is our children’s favourite, "Strawberry" sponge. Filled with freshly made strawberry butter cream and coated in a gorgeous pink fondant. The base of the cake has been decorated with individually handmade iced balls. We placed handmade iced butterflies and flowers on the front corners of the base tier. The second tier of this first birthday cake is made with our ever popular fresh vanilla sponge. Using only fresh ingredients and fresh vanilla pods. The centre of this cake is filled with real vanilla butter cream. Decorated in a white fondant, we added a quilted effect around the sides and used edible dragees. To finish the look on this tier we added some handmade and decorated teddy bear figures.
Finally the top tier of this children’s birthday cake is made from our extremely popular rich Belgian chocolate sponge. Using only real Belgian chocolate, the middle is filled with Belgian chocolate butter cream and is then finally coated in our own recipe of Belgian chocolate ganache. Coated in a soft pink fondant we then placed a soft pink organza ribbon around the base. The top of the tier was decorated with handmade iced stars and the centre piece was a lovely darker pink handmade crown. This gorgeous classic Chanel style bag with flap is made with a beautiful moist vanilla sponge. The sponge is made with all fresh ingredients, including fresh vanilla pods, as our all our cakes. Folded in half, the sponge is hand carved to shape to replicate the classic look of the Chanel style bag. The filling of this particular cake is made up of our own soft fresh vanilla butter cream, together with our smooth strawberry conserve. Covered in black fondant the classic chanel cake is than hand designed to give the distinctive stich look of the bag. The handle, buckle, clasp and Chanel style logo are also hand-made, cut and placed onto the bag. Each of these additions is then painted individually with food colours to give the final gold look.

Every cake was individually made and cut to size. As with all of our cakes, even corporate cakes are made using fresh ingredients, which, include fresh vanilla pods, real fruit and real Belgian chocolate. The cakes were individually placed on a 3" cake card and then iced complete.
Images of DSM Bright mini cake logo were individually made and then then transposed onto icing sheets and cut to size. They were then carefully placed on the top of each mini cake. We find more and more corporate business's are requesting individual mini cakes as opposed to the normal single large cake. Some companies are even preferring our unique 3D bespoke custom cakes.

All of our cup cakes have the same attention given to them as any other celebration cake. Every cup cake is baked and decorated by hand no more than 48 hours prior to delivery to ensure complete freshness.
The fireman Sam cup cakes are available in a variety of flavours and colours. As we make all of our cakes to order, we are able to offer a full range across the board for every cake we make. The fireman Sam iced figurines are also hand made and decorated individually each one made will vary in shape and design. Our cup cakes are not your normal small size that you see. We make all of our cup cakes just under muffin size. This ensures everyone gets a nice size cake, and, importantly, the children and adults are happy.
Also available for hire (if you have ordered the cup cakes from us) is our multi tier cup cake stand. It will hold up to 90 cup cakes and also have room on top for a cutting cake. The fireman Sam cup cakes shown here are vanilla flavour using only the best fresh vanilla pods. You can even have rich dark or light Belgian chocolate cup cakes. We do not use cocoa powder or colouring in our chocolate cakes. Only the finest Belgian chocolate will do. The flavour of cup cake you choose for these fireman Sam's is will not affect the price. The butter cream is made with our own recipe and is made with real butter. Iced with alternating Ivory and Teal butter cream to compliment the colour of the VW camper van.
The VW Camper van top tier was also made with our moist fresh vanilla recipe. Decorated carved, shaped and iced by hand with attention given to detail for all the lights, mirrors, VW badge and all other items. The bride and groom are hand made sugar iced pieces and had the hair and stubble coloured as per the couples request. One of Our returning clients enquired if it would be possible to replicate her daughter’s birthday present, a Mini Cooper. This was to be made with our Jamaican style fruit cake. We were more than happy to oblige. Once the caked was baked, it was carefully carved and shaped to replicate her white Mini Cooper. We then proceeded to decorate as per images that were provided to us. These included a black chequered roof and black stripes on the bonnet.
An 11 inch by 6 inch fruit cake was used to cater for our client’s guest of 45. Ensuring that when we enrobed the carved fruit cake with marzipan, the design and shape didn’t go out of scale. Just as general information, with a labour of love, this fruit cake took 5 hours to mix and then bake alone. It then took another 7 hours of carving, coating and decorating. Just seeing our customers face light up when they sew the cake was “ priceless” We can also provide this cake in variety of flavours other than Jamaican fruit. Although we do get a wide variety of vehicle cakes, this one has to be the most eye catching design that anyone celebrating would want. One of our very popular cakes is the” all-star” Converse shoe and shoe box cake made for a very lucky girl for her 15^th Birthday. The shoe is handmade by us (no cutters used) which is approximately 5 inches in length to give more of a realistic look to the design. The shoe box is made using an 11 inch by 6 inch traditional vanilla sponge filled with a vanilla butter cream and strawberry conserve, which is just one of over 30 of our unique fresh flavours to choose from.
We gave a softer look to the design by adding fondant, made to look like silk material draped onto the cake board. We then added some contrasting glitter to the number 15 and the celebrants name on the box which to give more of a personal touch. We provide a wide range of fashion inspired cakes ranging from designer handbags and shoes to replicate some of the top trends. We use only fresh local ingredients with no added preservatives. Lambretta Scooter

Lambretta Scooter SKU: [ bir-324 ] Cake size approx. (2 foot long x 1 foot high) How about showcasing a 3D Lambretta scooter as a surprise cake for the celebrant and also wow their guests? The lambretta scooter was made to rough scale of a lif size one. The framework was made in house to support this cake. Of course as with all of our sculptured 3D cakes, where required, the base is covered in food grade foil. The scooter was made from our own freshly baked Madagascan vanilla sponge and then carved to shape the body of the bike.
The wheels are none edible and are used as part of the decoration only. They are of course iced and decorated to repicate the wheels. As the celebrant for this cake is an avid West Ham supporter and a Paul Weller fan) we were commissioned to place a fondant version of a football scarf and images of Paul Weller from the group “the Jam” onto the bike itself. From start to finish the lambretta scooter cake had taken over 11 hours of work, from baking to cutting and assembling the bike frame and decorating. The lambretta scooter can have your very own personal touch added and decorated to your own choice of colours. This particular cake was delivered to the West Ham football ground for the recipients party. They had hired one of West Ham's private function rooms. Needless to say the celebrant had no idea that he was getting this cake. It was all a total surprise for him.
We stayed in touch with the customer from start to finish. This was a timed delivery into West Ham, London (a steady 2 hour drive). Like all of our distance deliveries, we deliver and set up all of our cakes in person. We never use a third party courier, and we always go prepared just in case of any small mishaps. Arriving in plenty of time we always allow for hold ups en-route and leave early. Our customers are contacted immediately if and when we come across any delays, and we also let the venue know. To date so far we have travelled well over 150,000 miles for our ling distance deliveries. We are pleased to say we have a 100% record. Bride and Groom wedding cakes. A bespoke wedding cake which replicates the bride and grooms very own outfits. We often get approached by customers asking us to design cakes with a difference, which sometimes can be very challenging and also test our skills. Originally the design was created with a cake dummy which we used to display at wedding shows This has always been one of the talking points at the shows. Our client came to us with her own idea of a four tier cake with one half of the cake decorated with chocolate and strawberries and the other half elegantly decorated with fondant drapes and flowers, but, upon seeing our display model of a bride and groom in their wedding attire, asked if it would be possible to replicate her own wedding dress and the grooms attire too.
Working out how much would be cake to cater for her guest and how much would be false was the easy part. The base of the wedding dress consisted of a 10 inch Chery and amaretto sponge , an 8 inch chocolate fudge with a filling of milk chocolate ganache and a 6 inch Lemon zest sponge All three layers were stacked. Each of the different cakes was over 4.5 inches in height. It was then carved to shape the skirt part of the dress. The waist upwards was a false tier which was again decorated with fondant icing. We hand carved a polystyrene base to replicate the grooms bottom half, and then we used two 8 inch chocolate cakes (again each over 4.5 inches high from the waist upwards.
To compliment the overall look of this bride and groom cake, we designed a cake board to consist of a parquet flooring, which was air brushed to give an authentic look, together with a red carpet to replicate a church aisle.
Both cakes are about 2.5 feet in height. We also provided a small decorated 6 inch tier with a bride and groom topper to sit in front of this cake. These cakes can of course be scaled to make it either larger or smaller, depending on your requirements. Both cakes are also available as all cake with no false elements, but this would reflect a different price. You can also order just the Bride or the Groom cake separately if you wish. Due to the complexity of the designs, the cakes were transported by our experienced driver (slowly) to the venue in derby completely set up on the board, and finishing touches were applied on arrival. Needless to say we left and arrived in plenty of time with everything required for any emergencies. We will deliver and set up all of our cakes in person. Apart from the bride and groom cake topper which is non edible, everything else on this tropical wedding cake theme from the Bengal tiger, to the tortoise, lizards and snakes are all made totally edible.
The parrot cake toppers were made from a non edible material and decorated by hand in icing, so that the bride and groom could keep them as a reminder of their wedding day. Fondant was shaped to replicate bamboo sticks and was placed around the base of the bottom tier. The 10 inch and 6 inch cakes of this tropical wedding theme cake were designed to look like tree slices. A carved out heart with the bride and grooms first letters of their name were also added to this tier. Finally the tier is airbrushed to give more of a realistic look to the bark.
We added a top hat and a veil to the parrots and decorated them with vibrant colours which adds to the overall look of the theme.

This beautiful slightly ornate multi tier wedding cake has an elegant modern twist to the design. The multi tier cake stood over 4ft tall. Four tiers were made up of a combination of sponge and fruit cake, whilst the other six tiers were made up of false dummy cakes each ranging between 4 and 5 inches high.

Ornate gold brooches with pink drapes were placed around the circumference of the of the 16 inch multi tier. Pink stripes with gold bow drapes were added to the base heart tiers of the wedding cake. The bride and groom’s initials were framed with scroll detailing and hand painted gold. For the top tier an arrangement of pink and white sugar flowers to consist of calla lilies, roses, blossom and petunias.
Our client requested one of our handmade bespoke cake stand measuring 28inch across, enrobed with ivory silk pleating to compliment the overall look of the design. We also provided personalised cupcakes with alternate ones of the bride and groom’s image and of gold initials alternating around the cake table. Delivery and setup was made at the Quorn Country Hotel, Loughborough. As with all our cakes, the designs can be scaled down, and the colour scheme changed. This cake like all others was tailored to the individual requirements for our bride and grooms, wedding day. The cake was displayed on our own floor standing cake stand and set on a 20" board which is decorated around the edges with diamante's. Dressed in plain crisp white icing, the base of each cake has been decorated with a single diamante chain. All the
flowers for this fairy tale wedding cake have been hand made. They are carefully placed to give a trailing effect from the top of the cake to the base and round to the side. The Princess horse and carriage at the base was provided by the bride and groom which gives it a lovely look with the castle as the background.
Normally we make our own castle towers for the top of the cake. This one however was selected by the bride and we decorated it accordingly by icing the outside and adding one or two finishing touches. This particular cake was delivered to The Nottinghamsire Golf & Country Club in Cotgrave, Nottingham. Set on our own 3 foot pedestal stand which is available for hire (with any cake ordered). fondant, the red ribbon and bone effect are then put into place. A beautiful variation of our original peacock cake. Our original peacock cake in white can be seen here White Peacock The Blue Peacock Wedding Cake sits high on our purpose built pedestal stand and is set on a 14 inch iced cake board. Each tier has a base coat of luxury white fondant and is decorated with a burgundy wine coloured ribbon at the base of the tiers. Overlaying the ribbon is a pearl effect beading. There are also gold hearts dotted around the cake. The feather effect of the
peacock is made up of over 150 individual shapes. Each of these has been hand decorated in two iridescent colours of green and blue, and, edible dragee's. This particular peacock is sitting on a ball which has been decorated with a small flower effect. The peacock is also decorated by hand with finishing touches on the eyes, beak and crown. Each tier of this cake (as with all of our cakes) has been fresh baked by hand and decorated less than 48 hours prior to delivery. We bake every one of our cakes the traditional way from scratch. What can we say. One of our customers is a jammie dodger fan. Set on a 10 inch base board that has been iced. This jammie dodger cake was made from an 8 inch soft vanilla sponge. It can also be made in many other flavours that we list. The cake is coated with our very own recipe of vanilla butter cream and then iced in 2 sections. The jammie dodger cake has a soft filling of butter cream is in the middle
and is coated with our raspberry conserve. The outside edge of the biscuit has of course been replicated in the same style as the biscuit.
The traditional heart that you normally find in the biscuit has also been carved out and filled with conserve. The bespoke novelty birthday cake is certainly one with a difference. Do you slice it and eat it? Or, do you dip it in your tea first? We have of course made other replica biscuits. This is just one of the many ones that we get to replicate. Other bespoke cakes include replica's of well known chocolate bars, crumpets and much more. The top of the biscuit cake was replicated identically to the real thing. JCB Digger

This bespoke novelty birthday cake is set out on a 10 inch round cake board. The mud and gravel effect on the board is also totally edible. The hillside cake has been made from a full 12 inch cake. This has been carved up to give the hillside look. Coated in our very own gorgeous butter cream, it is then iced in chocolate fondant and then decorated in green icing. Stones and pebbles
are then placed all around the cake and on the board. The JCB Digger cake has been molded and shaped by hand, as have the tyres on the digger. Once shaped and coloured we then add the front and back shovels on the JCB. The character on the cake has also been shaped by hand. The characters shirt has been hand decorated in the design of a builders lumberjack style shirt. We have also added a paid of builders boots. Not forgetting the health and safety aspect of their job, we of course gave him a hard hat. This particular JCB digger cake was made for someone who had just acquired the JCB license. As the recipient of this bespoke cake was in the immediate Derby / Nottingham area, we of course made no delivery charge. Every one of our flavours are hand baked from scratch using only real fresh ingredients such as; real fruit, Belgian chocolate etc. We do not use any flavoured essence for any of our cakes. The base tier of this cake is decorated with a grass effect and Peppa pig characters are set on the side of the board with a blanket and a miniature cake. On the next tier we placed a baby Peppa pig and some small caricature dugs around the sides. Small flat white iced clouds were also placed on the top tier. Everything on this cake is totally edible. Temari Wedding Cake

Approx portions (Including globes) 120 Most flavours and colours available. A unique temari wedding cake for our Bride and Groom with temari style decorated spheres. The temari spheres are of 3 different sizes. Each one is baked and decorated individually. We use 4 different flavours for the spheres. We used to different decoration styles on the temari sphere cakes. Once they had been iced and decorated, half of the spheres have hand iced red bows placed on top. The cake stand was a custom made disposable stand specific to the requirements of this cake request.
Each of the cake boards used were also decorated around the edge with matching red ribbon. The top 2 sponges were covered in white fondant and then decorated with lace effect black icing on the top, which drapes over the sides. The base board of the top tiers was also covered with lace effect sugar veil icing. The top tier of the temari wedding cake has fresh roses made into a bump placed on the top. The individual spheres range from £6.00 each depending on the size. Like all of our cakes, every sphere and the top tiers are made and decorated individually by hand less than 48 hours prior to delivery to your wedding venue. The price of the spheres represents the time taken to hand make and decorate each one individually.
This temari wedding cake was delivered to the queens hotel in Leeds. This hotel is a beautiful venue for a wedding. This is a unique style of wedding cake that would amaze both Bride and groom along with your guests. You may choose up to 4 different flavours for the spheres and have different flavours again for each of the top 2 tiers. This cake is not limited to the amount of spheres or top tiers as shown on here. You may order less or more of each of them. Another of our custom designed wedding cakes is this life size pair of Hunter wellington boots. Our Bride and Groom (Rachel and Andrew) requested us to make a replica of the Hunter wellington wedding cake The two Hunter Wellington boots were made from 2 different cakes. One was our very own Carrot cake recipe
We only used one small support for this hunter wellington wedding cake to ensure the Bride and Groom and their guests had plenty to go around. The cake was delivered to their venue at Horsley Lodge, Derbyshire where the Grooms transport was a tractor (As seen on top of the cake). The cake was set on a 14 inch iced cake board. The cake topper is not edible and was provided by the Bride and Groom. After the wedding ceremony, the room was transformed during the photo shoot for the wedding breakfast.
Horsley lodge is an ideal setting for weddings of up to approx 120 guests. Of course there is also their amazing Bridal accommodation. It has a beautiful drive passed its lovely water fountain feature, and is in the heart of the Derbyshire Countryside.
