Monochrome wedding cake

Cake size 12″ 8″ 6″

This beautiful cake is made with a chocolate sponge base tier with a smooth chocolate butter cream filling. A double size vanilla sponge was used for the middle tier, with vanilla butter cream filling and finally a moist lemon cake with lemon filling for the top tier.

Each tier is coated with white icing. The base tier has been given a silver striped effect and coated with a nice lustre. The middle tier is reservedly decorated with a piped dot detail, and finally the top tier is decorated with a diamond trellis detail.

To complete the cakes unique look we added black bows around the cakes and bow loops for the top tier and at the base of each layer we placed small fondant pearls.
