Approx portions 30 Most cake flavours / types available Springbatt dog novelty cake is a caricature of the images we were sent of the Springbatt cross dog. These dogs are known for their very good nature, or so our customer thought. They enquired if we could provide a 3D cake of her very own dog customised with his own scarf. It turned out that the dog had a little bit of a destructive nature (well it's fun for the dog) and loves to chew any items it can get hold like babies dummies, TV remote and paper (although the list might be endless).
The cake board he is sitting on has been decorated to represent a tiled floor. The cake was baked and decorated less than 36 hours prior to delivery in Nottingham, East Midlands.
Like all of our novelty cakes, this cake was hand decorated. We asked the customer to provide several photos of the dog in order to get as much detail as we could onto the cake. The Springbatt dog is a Springer Spaniel crossed with a Basset Hound and is becoming very popular. With it's distinctive long body and short stumpy legs it is a very loveable and loyal dog. Steam Train Cake

The base layer has been made and decorated with a varnished wood effect, and a gold plaque is placed on the side of the base cake with your chosen inscription. The train is hand carved and shaped to replicate a steam locomotive and then hand decorated. Everything on this
cake is totally edible. Our customer sent us images of this classic steam train engine that they wanted to replicate. It was a particular type and model of a steam locomotive that the recipient used to drive back in the days when steam locomotives where popular. The cake is available in a wide range of flavours. As we bake every cake traditionally and individually to order, we can offer a whole range of cake types and flavours. The base cake has been made up of four colours which we have put together in a mottled design to give the leather look effect. Are you a train spotter? Strongbow Cider

Strongbow cider
Here's a celebration cake for everyone who loves Strongbow cider, the difference being you can eat as much as you like without being over the limit. Made with a our real Madagascan vanilla sponge and then layered with strawberry conserve and vanilla buttercream. Once the cake is carved to size and coated, it is then enrobed with the Strongbow box image. The cake is set out on a 12 inch decorated cake board. To give the ultimate effect to the strongbow cider birthday cake, we gave the cake board a worn wood effect. It was then airbrushed to give the wood more depth. We then decided to go one step further and add more detail (as we love doing that). From the rest of the cake, we shaped an apple. The apple was then coated in a buautiful apple green fondant and finished off with the stalk on the top.
The look is then finished off with a beer mat which contains the recipients birthday message. If you would like this strongbow cider cake as it is then please feel free to use our order from below. Temari Wedding Cake

Approx portions (Including globes) 120 Most flavours and colours available. A unique temari wedding cake for our Bride and Groom with temari style decorated spheres. The temari spheres are of 3 different sizes. Each one is baked and decorated individually. We use 4 different flavours for the spheres. We used to different decoration styles on the temari sphere cakes. Once they had been iced and decorated, half of the spheres have hand iced red bows placed on top. The cake stand was a custom made disposable stand specific to the requirements of this cake request.
Each of the cake boards used were also decorated around the edge with matching red ribbon. The top 2 sponges were covered in white fondant and then decorated with lace effect black icing on the top, which drapes over the sides. The base board of the top tiers was also covered with lace effect sugar veil icing. The top tier of the temari wedding cake has fresh roses made into a bump placed on the top. The individual spheres range from £6.00 each depending on the size. Like all of our cakes, every sphere and the top tiers are made and decorated individually by hand less than 48 hours prior to delivery to your wedding venue. The price of the spheres represents the time taken to hand make and decorate each one individually.

Apart from the bride and groom cake topper which is non edible, everything else on this tropical wedding cake theme from the Bengal tiger, to the tortoise, lizards and snakes are all made totally edible.
The parrot cake toppers were made from a non edible material and decorated by hand in icing, so that the bride and groom could keep them as a reminder of their wedding day. Fondant was shaped to replicate bamboo sticks and was placed around the base of the bottom tier. The 10 inch and 6 inch cakes of this tropical wedding theme cake were designed to look like tree slices. A carved out heart with the bride and grooms first letters of their name were also added to this tier. Finally the tier is airbrushed to give more of a realistic look to the bark.
We added a top hat and a veil to the parrots and decorated them with vibrant colours which adds to the overall look of the theme.
The cake price shown below included delivery and setup at Morley Hayes Venue, Derbyshire. If your venue is outside the Derby/Nottingham areas there will be a slight additional delivery fee. VW Camper Van With Cup Cakes

All the cupcakes were hand made and hand piped with icing individually fresh to order 24 hours before the day. The flavour for these cupcakes was vanilla using real vanilla pods for the flavouring. The butter cream is made with our own recipe and is made with real butter. Iced with alternating Ivory and Teal butter cream to compliment the colour of the VW camper van.
The VW Camper van top tier was also made with our moist fresh vanilla recipe. Decorated carved, shaped and iced by hand with attention given to detail for all the lights, mirrors, VW badge and all other items. The bride and groom are hand made sugar iced pieces and had the hair and stubble coloured as per the couples request. The cup cakes and VW Camper van top tier are available in a full range of colours and flavours. The cakes were delivered and set up at the Bride and Grooms venue at Henley in Arden Warwickshire by us in person, as are all of our cakes. There is no delivery charge within the Nottingham and Derby area and a small delivery charge is made for outside of these areas. We will deliver to anywhere in the UK. birthday novelty cake is totally edible. We have dressed the cake board to resemble floor boards. Our customer wanted a cake of their pet to look as real as possible. You decide if we have managed that or not. The West Highland Terrier has been made totally from cake and only has one small support inside. Once we had achieved the desired shape, it was covered in a soft fondant. We then set about the detail of the body and tail.
Attention was paid to the detail of the dog, right down to his muddy paws. Eyes were made and coloured, and the moth was shaped and marked to give him a happy look. We then mixed the colour for his ears. The collar and dog tag are also made from edible icing. Available on a wide range of cake flavours. A unique bespoke design 5 tier wedding cake. Our Peacock wedding cake is a real eye catcher for that grand look to your wedding. This cake can be up-sized to suit your requirements, and, as with all of our cakes, each tier can be different to the others. Our full range of cake flavours, cake types and food intolerance cakes can be used for this magnificent cake. This particular example has been left plain in colour, but it is available in a wide range of colours to match your wedding theme.
The base of each tier has been decorated with translucent pearl effect beading. The top of the cake has been molded to replicate the head and chest of a Peacock with the crown and feathers hand made onto the body. The trailing hand made iced feather effect leading down the back of the cake from the body can be coloured to requirements. We have also added strings of translucent beads and leaves through the feather effect. As with all of our cakes, this wedding cake is also made free from animal fats and products. Our Yorkshire terrier birthday cake, is another addition to our 3D animal cakes that we often get requested to make. For this particular cake, again we used a 12 inch cake to ensure we had enough to work with. Like most of our 3D bespoke cakes, everything on this cake is totally edible and made from actual cake with virtually no support structure. At Kimboscakes, we work only with fresh baked cakes, and each one is baked and hand carved to shape, then decorated, less than 48 hours prior to delivery / collection.
The Yorkshire terrier birthday cake is carved and shaped into 2 parts before it is assembled. Once we have assembled and crumb coated the cake, we then set about coating it in a lush soft fondant. Using our experience and skills that we have gained over the years, we then set about modelling and styling the look of the Yorkshire terrier birthday cake. When we are happy with how it looks, we then start the colouring and fine detailing from images that our customer has provided to us. We take great care in replicating as close as we can, a true likeness of the images we are given.
This Yorkshire terrier birthday cake is then set out on a 14 inch cake board that we have pre - iced. On this board we have also replicated their pets blanket and the cake is then set onto this.
