This elegant fresh looking 4 tier ivory drape wedding cake, comes complete with the bride and groom topper. Please note variations of this topper will differ depending on availability. With this wedding cake, Less is More. Each of the 4 tiers has been left plain with the exception of an ivory ribbon around the base of the 4 tiers. Hand made iced red roses are placed on alternate tiers wither side just above the drapes. The ivory drape rose on this bespoke design wedding cake starts from the base of the Brides wedding dress and flows down the full height of the front of the cake. Matching ivory butterflies have been placed around the ivory drape wedding cake. The cake itself is set on a 14 inch iced cake board. Available in a range of sizes. Another of our custom designed wedding cakes is this life size pair of Hunter wellington boots. Our Bride and Groom (Rachel and Andrew) requested us to make a replica of the Hunter wellington wedding cake The two Hunter Wellington boots were made from 2 different cakes. One was our very own Carrot cake recipe We only used one small support for this hunter wellington wedding cake to ensure the Bride and Groom and their guests had plenty to go around. The cake was delivered to their venue at Horsley Lodge, Derbyshire where the Grooms transport was a tractor (As seen on top of the cake). The cake was set on a 14 inch iced cake board. The cake topper is not edible and was provided by the Bride and Groom.  After the wedding ceremony, the room was transformed during the photo shoot for the wedding breakfast. Horsley lodge is an ideal setting for weddings of up to approx 120 guests. Of course there is also their amazing Bridal accommodation. It has a beautiful drive passed its lovely water fountain feature, and is in the heart of the Derbyshire Countryside. Western or Asian attire. Bride and Groom wedding cakes. A bespoke wedding cake which replicates the bride and grooms very own outfits. We often get approached by customers asking us to design cakes with a difference, which sometimes can be very challenging and also test our skills. Originally the design was created with a cake dummy which we used to display at wedding shows This has always been one of the talking points at the shows. Our client came to us with her own idea of a four tier cake with one half of the cake decorated with chocolate and strawberries and the other half elegantly decorated with fondant drapes and flowers, but, upon seeing our display model of a bride and groom in their wedding attire, asked if it would be possible to replicate her own wedding dress and the grooms attire too. Working out how much would be cake to cater for her guest and how much would be false was the easy part. The base of the wedding dress consisted of a 10 inch Chery and amaretto sponge , an 8 inch chocolate fudge with a filling of milk chocolate ganache and a 6 inch Lemon zest sponge All three layers were stacked. Each of the different cakes was over 4.5 inches in height. It was then carved to shape the skirt part of the dress. The waist upwards was a false tier which was again decorated with fondant icing. We hand carved a polystyrene base to replicate the grooms bottom half, and then we used two 8 inch chocolate cakes (again each over 4.5 inches high from the waist upwards. To compliment the overall look of this bride and groom cake, we designed a cake board to consist of a parquet flooring, which was air brushed to give an authentic look, together with a red carpet to replicate a church aisle. Both cakes are about 2.5 feet in height. We also provided a small decorated 6 inch tier with a bride and groom topper to sit in front of this cake. These cakes can of course be scaled to make it either larger or smaller, depending on your requirements. Both cakes are also available as all cake with no false elements, but this would reflect a different price. You can also order just the Bride or the Groom cake separately if you wish. Due to the complexity of the designs, the cakes were transported by our experienced driver (slowly) to the venue in derby completely set up on the board, and finishing touches were applied on arrival. Needless to say we left and arrived in plenty of time with everything required for any emergencies. We will deliver and set up all of our cakes in person.
