Lace butterfly wedding cupcakes

6 inch top cake

These Beautiful elegant cupcakes made with four varieties of cakes which consisted of 25 X carrot cup cakes, 25 X cherry and amoretto cup cakes, 25 X white chocolate and lime cup cakes and 25 X vanilla sponge. All of the cakes including the top tier were baked the day before the event to ensure complete freshness. Each cake was decorated with alternate Ivory fondant disk and a smooth vanilla butter cream icing. To complete the look we placed hand made butterflies on top of each cake and added a sprinkling of hologram glitter.

The top tier was a cherry and amoretto sponge, with a filling of cherry conserve and white chocolate ganache and was finally covered in an ivory fondant. The cake topper consists of wired diamantes enrobed with light and dark blue feathers with hand made butterflies on the top and side of the cake.

This cake was delivered as all are other cakes, in person to the bride’s venue at South Normanton in between Derby and Mansfield in Derbyshire. The whole set up was completed on the actual wedding day by Kimboscakes.
