The Mug Tug is permanently moored at Barton Marina and is open to children and adults alike. One of our customers asked us to make a cake that resembles the Mug Tug with a characature of their daughter sitting on top. We were happy to oblige.
The board for the cake has been covered with fondant and then decorated to resemble a quayside by the river. The tug cake is shown floating on top of the water of the river and a banner is placed on the rails on the quayside.
The mug tug has been carved and decorated by hand from a 12″ cake. An image of the Mug tug logo is placed between each window as it is on the real tug. The little girl on top was molded and decorated by hand from edible fondant and can either be eaten or kept as a keepsake.
Everything on this cake is completely edible. The cake is available in a wide range of sizes, colours and flavours to suit. You can also have the base of the boat with one cake flavour and the cabin section from another cake flavour.
