Dusky Heart Wedding Cake

This split 4 tier ivory wedding cake was a request by one of our brides. Each tier is laid on its own iced board which is edged with a matching dusky pink ribbon. A seperator board is laid between each tier and the edge of each of those boards has a deep blue ribbon around them.

The tiers are decorated in a smooth ivory fondant and with a minimum amount of tiny hearts. Once stacked together it stands tall at over 15″ high. The cake is decorated at the front with different sized iced hearts in contrasting dusky ping against the ivory coated cakes.

On the top tier we have placed both dark blue hearts with larger duxky pink ones at the back. The most difficult task was getting the cake to stand straight on the sloping uneven marquee floor. Something to bear in mind when bride and grooms book there venue. Thouch a marquee is a lovely place to hold a reception, when it comes to standing the wedding cake it does need to be on a flat level surface with a floor that does not rock every time someone walks past. Also ensure there is a good airflow to prevent overheat and cold.

Pink Phoenix Stargazer Lily Wedding Cake

Another of our climbing Phoenix range of cakes. This particular cake was delivered and set up in person to our Bride and Groom in Colchester.

Each tier in this cake is dressed in white icing with black and pink ribbons around the base. The tiers are all seperated with false bloskx and glass. The false blocks are also decorated in an identical way to the tiers and macth in height and sizes accordingly.

The Stargazer lilies on this cake are all made individually by hand out of flowerpaste and can either be kept as a momento of your day or eaten. Each petal is also decorated individually. Bow and Drape wedding cake

This lovely single tier Bow and Drape wedding cake is an ideal size for that Smaller, more Personal wedding. The cake is laid onto 2 round cake boards which are also dressed with icing and ribbons. A small bow on the base board is decorated with a diamante.

A hexagon cake draped in soft ivory fondant. Around the side of the cake we have dressed it with a hanging drape effect and added petals with a diamante in the middle of each drape where they meet. This gives the side of the cake a very elegant look about it. Around the base of the cake is a diamante effect chain.

The top of the cake has been decorated with individual bow loops which are clustered together. Also inbetween these loops we have added the odd diamante pin to tie in with the side of the cake.

This particular cake was requested in our beautiful soft english fruit cake, for our coule who went to “Gretna Green” to tie the note. It is available in a variety of shapes, sizes, colours and flavours. (Why not try our unique Jamacian Fruit Cake) 

Delivery within the immediate area of Derby and Nottingham is FREE. Other areas will incur a small delivery charge. All of our wedding cakes are set up by us in person at your venue and include, a cake knife flower spray (to match your theme) and some cake table decoration to blend in with the cake. This is all included in the price of the cake (Except for delivery charge where applicable).

Brush Iced Decorated Wedding Cake With Roses

An elegantly designed 4 tier wedding cake. This cake is made up of four tiers and the top tier is seperated by a modern design acrylic separator. (Though you do not have to use this)

The base and third tier have been left plain whilst the 2nd and top tier have a delicate hand brush iced decoration around them. The brush iced work on this elegant 4 tier wedding cake has been made slightly darker than the base colour to show the details.

The base of every tier has a thin ribbon around it and the whole cake sits on a hand decorated / etched board. From the top tier down we have laid a light trail of mixed flowers with mixed colours. These flowers can be changed and coloured to suit your theme.

The flowers are seperated on the way down with some carefully hand made green leaves to give it the fresh flower look.

On the base of the acrylic separator we have placed a bright white light which shines through the flowers beatifully and sets of the crystals in the acrylic stand.

Delivery within the Derby and Nottingham area is free, other areas will incur a small delivery charge.

Purple Phoenix Couture Wedding Cake

Elegant and easy on the eye, this cake was provided for one of our asian wedding couples. Standing a total of 8 tiers high, this wedding cake was the centre piece of the reception. Placed in the middle of the floor for all to see, as is the custom for a lot of Asian weddings. The base tier is seperated by a glass seperator and every second tier after that. Each seperator is sized accordingly to the layer above it.  

The base of each of the smaller tiers is decorated with dual colour ribbons, whereas the larger tiers above them have a single purple ribbon. The whole cake is decorated with oriental flowers which were ordered in seperatly from Chrissies Florist in Manchester.

With a total of over 600 guests at the wedding, an extra 5×12″ tiers were also provided as cutting cakes and designed identical. Also provided for the Bride/Grooms parents were to smaller cakes which were gift wrapped in smaller cake boxes and tied with gold ribbon

This particular cake was delivered and set up at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester. The whole Asiain wedding cake (Including the extrat tiers) took 48 hours to bake and decorate.  The smaller tiers that you see in this wedding cake are seperator blocks which give it the structure and height.

This cake is also available in larger or smaller sizes and can be structured and coloured to suit your wedding theme. All of our wedding cakes are available in most colours and flavours and can be arranged in any order that you require. Every cake we make is made less than 48 hours prior to your big day.

Calla lily and Monogran wedding cake

Elegant and modern in design, another version of the monogram and diamante wedding cake. This bespoke 3 tier wedding cake is coating in pure white fondant.

The top tier has a hand made calla lily on top with the middle tier showing the Bride and Grooms initials.

Seperated with modern acrylic cake seperators, this cake stands proud on the wedding cake table. A hand made lace effect design covers the top and base tier giving a nice look of depth to the cake. The top and bottom tier have a thin band of diamantes around them. A small true white light is paced inside the base seperator and covered with a white organza to give it a lovely soft glow.

The top seperator also has a bright white light on the base to light illuminate at an evening reception. The iced flowers on the top tier are hand made and can be any flower to tie in with your bouquet.

This cake is also available in a wide range of colours to suite and can be customised to your requirements

White Rose and Butterfly Wedding Cake

Another one of our bespoke wedding cakes for our bride and groom. This beautiful 4 tier wedding cake is set on a cake stand that is draped with a gorgeous purple organza. The tiers of this cake are mixed between standard and double size tiers, with both chamfered and non chamfered edges.

Each tier has a row of iced beading around the base, and is decorated with a mixture of individually hand made iced flowers, leaves and butterflies. Flower petals are carefully placed around each of the tiers of this wedding cake as if they have naturally fallen.

The cake has over 40 iced flowers, 30 iced leaves and 10 carefully placed butterflies which trails down the cake and around the side. This cake was delivered free of charge as the couple were getting married in the derbyshire area.

Every tier is made up of different flavours. As we bake all of our cakes fresh to order, the actual (carrot cake) final tier of this cake was completed and decorated the morning of the wedding. You do not get much fresher than that. Here is our blushing bride and groom making the first cut into this delicous cake. The tiers can be made of any flavours your choose and can be placed in any order. The cake is available in a full range of colours to suit your wedding theme.

Delivery charges for this wedding cake vary depending on your area. Derby and Nottingham have free delivery, ourdise of these areas will incur a nominal delivery charge to cover fuel costs. All of our cakes, Wedding and celebration are delivered by us in person, and the price quoted will include delivery, and set up at your chosen venue. The price of the cake also includes cake table decoration and a small hand made flower spray which is attached to the cake knife.

Bespoke Design Theatre Mask Wedding Cake

We often get requests to decorate cakes with a difference, and this is just one of many that we have done for our bride and groom. We were asked to reprodue the recognised thatre masks as the cake topper for this cake. The theatre masks also had to be different colours each side. One in silver with the reverse being in ivory and the opposite for the adjacent mask.

Both sides of each mask were made seperatly and then coloured by hand before joing them together. As shown the front of this Theatre Wedding Cake is dressed with nad made stars of different sizes. The base colour is in Ivory (Celebration) and finished off with silver ribbon at the base of each tier.

The cake was delivered to the hotel on Monkey Island and was transported from Derby pre stacked but without the topper in place and arrived in plenty of time. The base cake was our rich soft fruit cake and the top 2 tiers were sponge.

All of our cakes are delivered by us in person to their destination as we prefer to set up the cake we make for you in person to ensure everything is completed as per your request.

Elegant Lily Wedding Cake With Mini Cakes

Simple, clean and elegant. Available in most colours to match your theme and the flower on the tope tier can be changed to suit your bouquet. This particular top tier wedding cake as at the top of a 7 tier cake stand with over 100 mini cakes.

Each individual cake is covered in a beautiful soft white fondant and a subtle green ribbon is attached to the base of each. All the mini cakes sit on their own individually iced cake card to finish the look.

The top tier of this elegant Lily wedding cake is decorated the same as the imin cakes, with the exception of the lily on the top. The hand made iced lily has been lightly dusted with a hint of green colour to it and cam also be kept as a keepsake from your wedding day.

Vrea grass was used on this design to finish of the look of the lilly. The top tier is also available in a full range of our cake flavours and is available in a range of shapes and sizes to suit.  Castle Wedding Cake Fantasy

Everything except the flagpoles is completely edible on this gorgeous 4 tier Castle Wedding Cake, which was delivered locally for our bride and groom in Nottingham.

On this particular cake every layer was a different flavour. You can choose whichever flavour/type of cake you prefer and we will prepare them for you.

The base colour is in white, with the secondary colour being a light blue, to blend in with the bride and grooms colour scheme. This castle wedding cake is also avalaible in a full range of COLOURS to suit your theme. The cake is based on a 15″ round cake board, which was finished off with matching ribbon and sat on a cake stand drapped with beautiful white organza. The cake matched perfectly with the bride and groom’s layout for their wedding breakfast.

 Every part of this cake is individually styled and decorated by hand. Subtle colours are used to enhamce the look of this castle wedding cake.

Like all of our wedding cakes we provide free setup, table decoration for the cake table and a hand made small flower spray to attach to your cake knife for photogenic reasons. 

 If the cake is being delivered within the local area of Derby or Nottingham, then delivery is free. A nominal charge is made for delivery anywhere else in the UK outside of this area.
