Special Dietary Requirements

All though food allergies affects an estimated 6 to 8 percent of children under age 3 and about 4 percent of adults, people with allergies and food intolerances tend to be over looked, especially when it comes to choosing a celebratory cake!

We feel they should be recognised and to be able to have as much choice as someone without any allergies. So within our business we pride ourselves on baking and help to design an allergen free cake for any special occasion. That way our customers can relax on their big day without worrying about their food allergy/intolerance.

Here are some of our recipes for you to choose, just let us know the details when you order your cake online.

  • Ginger cake = wheat and nut free
  • Fruit cake = wheat, dairy & gluten free and suitable for vegetarians
  • Carrot cake 1 = wheat, gluten, nut & dairy free and suitable for vegetarians
  • Carrot cake 2 = wheat, gluten & nut free and suitable for vegetarians
  • Lemon ricotta cake = wheat & gluten free and suitable for vegetarians

Gluten, egg and dairy free sponge cake flavour variations – chocolate, chocolate chip, coffee, lemon, orange & Lemon.

We can also decorate cakes with egg free and/or nut free marzipan.

Please note that gluten-free (Coeliac/Celiac)and wheat-free are not necessarily the same thing, so if you are buying a birthday cake for someone else please be sure exactly what it is they must avoid.
